How did the name La Tangerine come about?
The beginning of the business journey was marked by a large dose of sugar, as Tanja enjoyed a tangerine while filing nails, painting, and daydreaming - and thus La Tangerine was born.
Well, let's share a bit about our story.
Let's look at our story. La Tangerine was born out of a hobby. As they say: "If you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life". Manicures have always been my (Tanja's) passion, which Kaja joined years later.
La Tangerine also arose from the love of cosmetics and products that make a home more pleasant. We wanted to offer something that beautifies the homes of all of you who create stories with us day by day, and also those who will join us.
At its core, La Tangerine represents manicures, but with everything you can buy in our store, it also represents our taste and style. Everything you find with us, we also use ourselves and stand firmly behind it.
We want to emphasize that our company strives to offer products that are environmentally and animal-friendly. Victoria Vynn is a brand that does not test on animals, and we always look for products that follow these principles.
- I'm Tanja

- I'm one of those who has always enjoyed doing nails for myself and my family. Where does this habit come from? I'm not exactly sure. Maybe it was my mom who introduced me to the world of fashion at a young age. She was always impeccably dressed from head to toe. I remember sitting on the "bedeau" as a little girl, watching my mom get ready to go out, or my dad shaving his beard. I also observed how my grandparents would get ready in the mornings and evenings before going to sleep or heading to work. As a child, I always wanted to be grown up. And now I am. From my childhood, I remember getting my first nail polishes – green, yellow, blue, even though red polish was mainly available at that time. Red polish has been and remains timeless.
My childhood dreams unknowingly grew into a profession. In 2010, I decided to take my first course. A friend encouraged me because she saw my talent for painting and designing. "Tanja, you should sign up, you'll be great at it," she said. And so I did. Since then, I've been painting, filing, and buffing. This is my life. Painting, buffing – it all represents my everyday life.
Times have changed, as have my style and my view of what it means to be a nail stylist. There were periods when I wanted to stand out with very long nails, and times when I almost gave up because women were having problems with their nails. Then I stopped and thought about what I want to achieve with my work. Am I just covering up flaws?
I've always wanted to know more. I've taken numerous courses, read a lot of material, and watched countless videos. And what do I do today? I continue in the same spirit. I never stop exploring. Every day, I'm interested in what's new in the field of nails. And there's always something new. It's truly incredible.
